Elation Denture Clinic by Mr Jeremy Kearns: Dentures and Prosthetics
Mr Jeremy Kearns & Dr Kerry Chen
Croydon South Denture Clinic operates every Thursday
Mr Jeremy Kearns works together with Dr Kerry Chen on Thursdays to create dentures, false teeth and replacing smiles.
If you're needing new dentures, you'll usually need a full dental checkup and clean first - new dentures work best when your teeth are as clean as possible! If there's any problems with your teeth - like needing fillings or extractions - Jeremy and Kerry will work together to plan and organise appointments so your experience is as painless and efficient as possible.
Call us on 9725 2029 and ask for a denture consultation with Jeremy on a Thursday to get your journey underway!
How often should I get my false teeth checked?
You should have your dentures / false teeth checked yearly. Poorly fitting dentures can be loose, cause ulcers, catch food, cause bad breath and lots of other problems. As we age, our gums shrink and teeth wear down, meaning your dentures will become loose. Jeremy offers free consultations to check the condition of your dentures. If any work is recommended like repairs, relines or replacement, Jeremy will give you a quote before any work is performed.
We accept all Government vouchers for dentures, including Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), Victorian Denture Scheme (VDS) and all Private Health Insurance Funds with Dental.

Elation Denture Clinic Croydon South
Mr Jeremy Kearns (one of Victoria's leading dental prosthetists) is now serving Croydon South, Ringwood, Heathmont, Kilsyth and surrounding areas.
Jeremy has over 25 years experience, and creates custom dental prosthetics to give you back your confidence and appearance. Jeremy also provides in-home services directly to the Warburton Valley community through Alpine Denture Clinic.
Jeremy can treat any problems relating to your dental prosthesis (also called dentures, or false teeth).
Old dentures often wear down, crack, lose teeth or simply don't fit your gums. Sometimes a reline can help - other times, a whole new denture is required.
Whether it's acrylic (plastic) or metal (cobalt/chrome), Jeremy can measure and construct a new prosthesis for you.
Denture repairs are another service we offer - broken teeth or clasps, adjustments, relines - whatever your needs are Jeremy has the skills, ability and passion to make it happen!
1. Cost-Effectiveness
Dentures are generally more affordable ($1,000-$2,500 for a complete set of teeth) than dental implants ($6000+ each individual tooth!). If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option to replace missing teeth, dentures can be a more economical choice.
2. Non-Surgical Procedure
Getting dentures is a non-invasive process. Unlike implants, which require surgical insertion into the jawbone, dentures only involve taking impressions of your mouth. This makes dentures a suitable option for those who prefer to avoid surgery or have medical conditions that make surgery risky.
3. Quicker Solution
The process of getting dentures is relatively quick. You can have a complete set of dentures within a few weeks (sometimes within a few days!), whereas dental implants can take several months due to the need for bone integration and healing.
4. Flexibility and Adjustability
Dentures can be easily adjusted or replaced if your dental needs change over time. This flexibility can be particularly beneficial if you experience changes in your oral structure or if you need to replace multiple teeth.
5. Suitable for Various Conditions
Dentures are a viable option regardless of the condition of your jawbone. If you have significant bone loss, gum disease or other issues that make implants less feasible, dentures can still provide a functional and aesthetic solution.
6. Less Risk of Complications
Since dentures do not involve surgery, there is a lower risk of complications such as infections or implant failure. This can be reassuring for those concerned about potential surgical risks.
7. Easier Maintenance
Dentures are relatively easy to maintain. They can be removed for cleaning, which can simplify your oral hygiene routine. This can be particularly advantageous for older adults or those with limited dexterity.
Conclusion
Dentures provide a cost-effective, non-surgical, and flexible alternative to dental implants. It’s important to discuss your specific needs and preferences with us at Elation Dental to determine the best option for you.
